Generally speaking,life today is better than life in the past.Mrs Li says.

Mrs Li is over seventy years old.So she has seen how life has changed during the past years.

She says that when she was young,she got a big family because her mother had five children.After getting married,her mother didn't go to work,instead,she just stayed at home and looked after the children as a full-time job.

At that time,girls weren't sent to school because they couldn't afford it and there is another reason,that is just because you are a girl.You don't need to go to school. There is a saying:In the past, Innocence is the virtue for women

At that time most people were very poor.They could seldom eat meat,only once or twice a year.

But today life has changed a lot. For example, families are smaller than before each family has only one child.So women can go to work after getting married and the children whether girls or boys can go to school because the family can afford it.

As for health,people are healthier than before because they eat better and they know more about the medicine and know how to deal with the ordinary diseases .So people live longer.However,it results in social aging,it is a serious problem.

The traffic is very convenient now. so we can go anywhere by plane.But the traffic is too busy and sometimes it makes us very angry.

Generally speaking,life is becoming better and better.I think so.what about you?
