Days ago，my little sister told my grandmother that she wanted to do some prays because of her coming 24th birthday, one kind of birthday in Chinese tradition means the person will go through some difficulties the whole year. My grandmother said that we could go to a temple in another town to pray for good fortune, then we chose today, the first day in June on lunar-based calendar, which is a good day for pray in Buddhism.
My father drove his car taking us to that temple which is located on the top of a small mountain and is surrounded by trees, flowers and also other mountains. With the sunny weather today, I felt so good, it’s like that I came into some kind of paradise.
According to the traditional rules, we did something with the help of the staff there, such as burning incense, worshipping and eating religious food. At 11 o’clock, we drove back home.
I’m not a religious person, but I believe my grandmother’s religion, so sometimes I would love to do these religious things with her and I do believe in the religion during walking into and practicing it. Every time when needing to go to a temple, we must get up very early, like getting up at 6 o’clock today, and this is another thing? I have a deep impression on.
