《Youth青春》_by Samuel Ullman(1840-1924) 生于德國,后遷居美國的塞繆爾·厄爾曼寫的這一篇不足500字的短文《Youth》大半個世紀(jì)以來一直為世人傾倒,產(chǎn)生了經(jīng)久不息的轟動效應(yīng)。

青春不是年華,而是心境;青春不是桃面,丹唇,柔膝,而是深沉的意志;恢宏的想象;炙熱的愛情;青春是生命盎然的涌流。
青春氣貫長虹,勇銳蓋過怯弱,進(jìn)取壓倒茍安。如此銳氣,二十后生而有之,六旬男子則更多見。年歲有加,并非垂老,理想丟棄,方墮暮年。
歲月悠悠,衰微只及肌膚;熱忱拋卻,頹廢必致靈魂。憂煩,惶恐,喪失自信,定使心靈扭曲,意氣如灰。
無論年屆花甲,抑或二八芳齡,心中皆有生命之歡樂,奇跡之誘惑,孩童般天真久盛不衰。人人心中皆有一處天線,只要你從天上人間接受美好、希望、歡樂、勇氣和力量的信號,你就青春永駐,風(fēng)華常存。
一旦天線下墮,銳氣便被冰雪覆蓋,玩世不恭,自暴自棄油然而生,即使年方二十,實已垂垂老矣;然則只要樹起天線,捕捉樂觀信號,你就有望在八十高齡告別塵寰時仍青春韶華。
Youth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life.
Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.
Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.
Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing child-like appetite of what’s next, and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and from the Infinite, so long are you young.
When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch the waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.
多年以前看到過這個文章,一直非常喜歡這篇短文了,以至于,每每看到它,都感到熱血在血管內(nèi)里流動。

面臨的現(xiàn)狀是:人員工作散漫,沒有章程;部分同事,即使住的非常近,也時常遲到半小時;忙完手上的活,地面,臺面再亂,再臟也要去玩手機(jī);管理崗學(xué)習(xí)意愿不強(qiáng),沒目標(biāo)。
在無法給企業(yè)換血的前提下,提高人的積極性對提高工作效率,起至關(guān)重要的作用。但是,改變自己容易,改變別人難,改變外界環(huán)境更難。
如何改變一個人的積極性呢?
如何將一群人綁在一起,朝著一個目標(biāo)一起努力呢?
明確企業(yè)的使命,愿景,價值觀?
形成一個合理的規(guī)章制度,考勤方式?
當(dāng)遇到某一個問題的時候,被上級領(lǐng)導(dǎo)問到,然后呢?
這個問題被問出,表明被問的人工作沒有做到位,而此時,被問的人就應(yīng)該反思:這個疑問為什么是他問的?而不是自己問自己的?自己試著去找到解決方案呢?遇到困難之后,然后呢?這樣的心態(tài)是如何轉(zhuǎn)變的?如果每一個人都會是這樣,積極主動的去處理自己手中的工作,那將會是一個怎樣的場景?堅持下去這會是一個什么樣的結(jié)果?
