像領(lǐng)導者一樣說話? Simon Lancaster: Speak like a leader

Simon在這篇演講文中，提出了作為領(lǐng)導者的6條秘密語言（secret language of leadership），6個技巧，也就是古代的修辭學（Ancient rhetoric）。它屬于中世紀三藝（語法、修辭、邏輯）之一。

1、三是在修辭學中有魔力的數(shù)字

eg：David? Cameron：Broken homes, failing schools, sink estates

eg：Tony Blair：Education, education, education

eg：Barack Obama: A world at war, a planet in peril, the worst financial crisis in a generation

2、三個句子（或者多個句子），每句開頭都一樣

eg：I'm not asking 20 pounds, I'm not asking 15 pounds, I'm not even asking 10 pounds.

eg：We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight on the fields and in the streets. -by 溫斯頓·丘吉爾

3、陳述中的自由平衡 Free balance in statements

eg：Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.

eg：To be or not to be. 生存還是毀滅

特別說明：有時候均衡的感覺事實上僅是一種假象，我們也會受其吸引。比如以下這種同一個意思，用否定句和反義詞再說一遍。

eg：We're looking to the future, not the past.

eg：We're thinking about what we can do, not what we can't.

4、隱喻 Metaphor 或者說比喻

eg：阿拉伯之春 The Arab Spring

eg：加萊叢林：指位于法國郊區(qū)的一處主要收留來自中東地區(qū)的難民營 The Calais Jungle

eg：金融風暴 The financial storm。羅馬教皇不用金融風暴，而用了資本主義的糞堆，The dung heap of capitalism，非常精彩。

5、夸張 Exaggeration

eg：My god, I've been waiting to give this talk my whole life.

上帝啊，我這輩子都等著來做這個演講呢。

eg：I didn't sleep at all last night, and I am going to give my heart and soul to you.

我昨晚完全沒有閉眼，我要把我的心和靈魂都獻給你們。

6、押韻 Rhyme

這里的押韻是說，盡量用簡練的話語，比如一篇韻文。因為用長單詞和句子講話，如同給人一塊牛排讓人直接吞下去；而用簡練話語就像請人品嘗葡萄酒。

If it doesn't fit, you must acquit. 如果不匹配，你就得判無罪。

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. 日食一蘋果，疾病莫纏我。

You've got to speculate to accumulate. 你得多投機，財富才能堆積。
