The bar graph illustrates the percentage of people in different age groups who say they can’t live without the television.

Generally speaking,People aged 50 to 62 account for the majority of the population. People aged 51 to 61 account for about 36% of the population. People aged 62 and over account for the largest part, accounting for about 44% of the total population.As is shown in the bar chart, people in the age group of 18 to 40 account for a smaller proportion. The age group from 18 to 26 takes up the smallest proportion, accounting for only 17%. And 25 percent are in the 27-40 age group.The age group from 41 to 50 is in the middle of the chart, accounting for 32%.

The general trend of the bar chart can show,the people who can’t live without the television the age is older .Because the bar chart shows an upward trend,the greater the age the larger the proportion of the proportion.
