No pains no gains

It is known to us is that the only way to achieve one’s goal is to work hard. Just as the old saying goes, no pains,no gains. we all have different kinds of dreams since we are just little kids, The career that most people dream of is to be a teacher, a doctor, or a policeman. Actually I don't remember what my dreams was when I have been in my childhood, Bad memory. I just knew that learning hard is important. As grow older, some people give up their dreams, some people change their goals, and others forget their dreams, however you will get nothing unless you have paid something.

Here I want to share a story of my own: My first job was an assistant of international sales. My job is to make order documents, shipping documents and booking, the products was plush toys, they are so cute,I love them and love my job as well. It needs very little English.I feel that the job is easy for me. But gradually I realized that English is really important in my job. If I want to do better, I need to improve my English. It was really poor English I have at that time.so I decided to study in a English Training school . I had three classes a week at 6:30 PM , my off work time is 6 o'clock. Time is too urgent to take the class, So I went to my boss, asked to get off work earlier, and explained the reason. To my surprise, when my boss heard it, he was moved by my hard work for learning. he not only agreed to my request, but also decided to pay my tuition. My boss is a kindhearted person who loves to learn as well. As a Korean he can speak both English and Chinese very well. With the support of the boss, I have more motivation to learn. I worked in that company for 8years and left because it moved to Jiaozhou. No pain no gain, I really appreciate all the hard work I had done, so I have more choices when I am looking for a new job.

It is a pity that for a long time, since I got married, and have child, I give up learning. Fortunately I received my friends Kevin and Suzie’s invitation, At first I was hesitate to come, because I am afraid to stand and speak in front of people. After a period of consideration, my heart tells me that change is painful, but growing is happy. Finally I came here, toastmaster. because I can meet excellent people like you on this platform, and I have a chance to speak in front of you. I seldom stand in front of people and give a speech like this, even in Chinese. I want to challenge myself, That's because I want to make progress and improve myself. Being able to get everyone’s encouragement is my motivation to come here. it makes me more confident . You know that, I am nervous every time I come here, but I feel very excited after our meeting. This is my real feeling. Changing is painful, but you will get more. This is not only reflected in ordinary people like me, but also in many successful people. Their achievements are all made through hard work.

There are some people are born with a golden key, and some lucky people become famous overnight for some reason, but this is a very small number, and the only way is by working hard to get what we want to have.

No pains,no gains,I very much agree with this sentence,There are not so many lucky people in this world, most of them are rewarded by giving,? in order to meet a better self, we must continue to work hard.

So,my dear friends, remember that hard work is the most important factor to success, ”the early bird catches the worm”, work hard, keep going, and never give up.
