一天森林里所有的動(dòng)物都聚集在一起。他們想通過一場(chǎng)跳舞比賽來挑選‘森林’。
狐貍：每個(gè)人都有跳舞的機(jī)會(huì)，誰的舞跳得，誰就可以當(dāng)上‘森林’。兔子：誰來做裁判呢？
狐貍：當(dāng)然是我們大家啦。我們要選出跳舞跳得的動(dòng)物。
熊：聽上去蠻有意思的。我希望我能被選上。我想當(dāng)‘森林之王’。
兔子：別做夢(mèng)了！你的舞跳得糟透了。我見過你跳舞，你算了吧！熊：是嗎？那一會(huì)大吃一驚的。我一直在練習(xí)。
兔子：好吧，我們等著瞧。
狐貍：大家安靜！女士們，先生們！大家都準(zhǔn)備好了嗎？我們開始啦！鴨子先生，你先來。請(qǐng)上臺(tái)來跳舞！
鴨子：好啦，我開始跳啦！ 鴨子先生跳的是迪斯科。他左右搖擺著*。樣子看上去滑稽極了。所有的動(dòng)物都哈哈大笑。

熊：音樂的節(jié)奏太慢了。一點(diǎn)兒也不好玩。

兔子：我不這么想，熊先生。我覺得還是你跳得好
狐貍：最后一位參賽選手是猴子先生。好的，請(qǐng)猴子先生上場(chǎng)。猴子先生選擇的是電子音樂。他的表演比兔子小姐和熊先生還要精彩。他跳得。所有的動(dòng)物都選猴子先生做‘森林’。
狐貍：請(qǐng)大家圍成一圈，新的‘森林’誕生了！恭喜你猴子先生，你就是我們的新國王。
猴子：我就知道，我是國王！從現(xiàn)在開始你們都要聽從我的命令
猴子的話令所有的動(dòng)物都感到震驚。

一天天，猴子國王變得越來越傲慢了。其他的動(dòng)物再也無法忍受了。
狐貍：猴子先生以前不是這樣的。他待人和氣又謙遜?，F(xiàn)在他變了，我們?cè)摻o他點(diǎn)教訓(xùn)。

動(dòng)物們聽了兔子小姐的計(jì)劃，都表示愿意參加。 第二天，狐貍先生來到猴子國王的住處。
狐貍：猴子國王，你今天還好嗎？
猴子：不錯(cuò)。
狐貍：你現(xiàn)在忙嗎？
猴子：不忙。怎么啦？
狐貍：噢，我想帶你去一個(gè)好地方。
猴子：真的嗎？在哪兒？
狐貍：這是個(gè)秘密。不過那兒有好多好吃的東西。你只管跟著我。其他所有的動(dòng)物都在那兒等你呢。
猴子：好吧，我們走吧。
猴子國王跟著狐貍先生來到了一個(gè)山洞前。猴子：哪有吃的?。?br>
狐貍：在山洞里，大王。你先進(jìn)去。
猴子：食物在哪里？其他人在哪兒？這里好黑?。?br>
猴子國王剛一走進(jìn)山洞，其他的動(dòng)物就用石頭把洞口給堵了起來。洞口被封死了。猴子國王被關(guān)在了里面。
猴子：放我出去！立刻放我出去！
兔子：沒門兒，猴子先生！你是個(gè)壞國王！我們不喜歡你！
猴子：但是我是國王！我命令你們！趕快把洞口打開！
狐貍：你自己打開吧。再見。
猴子：不，別走！等一等！從現(xiàn)在開始我要做個(gè)好國王。求求你們，放我出去吧！
熊：一切都太遲了，猴子先生。
