最近央視一檔節(jié)目《中國(guó)詩(shī)詞大會(huì)》，火的不得了。
咱們不愧是文明古國(guó)，數(shù)千年歷史祭奠了深厚的文化底蘊(yùn)。古詩(shī)詞優(yōu)雅而富有意境之美?？粗?shī)詞大會(huì)上才子才女們舌燦蓮花，如同三伏天飲冰水。
然而這么美好的詩(shī)詞，怎么能讓我們獨(dú)享呢？這不公平！外國(guó)人必須吸收者千年醞釀的營(yíng)養(yǎng)。
那誰(shuí)來(lái)翻譯詩(shī)詞，讓外國(guó)人也能領(lǐng)略呢？古往今來(lái)大有人在。像《詩(shī)經(jīng)》這樣的經(jīng)典，早在幾百年前就有人翻譯成拉丁文、法文、德文等，流傳歐陸。
當(dāng)今有著“詩(shī)譯英法第一人”許淵沖老先生，翻譯了為數(shù)眾多的詩(shī)詞。他那優(yōu)美、精準(zhǔn)的翻譯，不僅信實(shí)典雅，而且似乎還帶出了古人更深一層的幽思呢。
誰(shuí)說(shuō)詩(shī)歌的精髓會(huì)lost in translation? 依我看，高明的翻譯，會(huì)讓詩(shī)歌的精髓to be found in translation。
今天我們就來(lái)欣賞幾首許老的佳作：
1. 《周南·關(guān)雎》
關(guān)關(guān)雎鳩，在河之洲。
窈窕淑女，君子好逑。
參差荇菜，左右流之。
窈窕淑女，寤寐求之。
求之不得，寤寐思服。
悠哉悠哉，輾轉(zhuǎn)反側(cè)。
參差荇菜，左右采之。
窈窕淑女，琴瑟友之。

翻譯：A Fair Maiden（題目有意思，“漂亮女孩”，似乎取“窈窕淑女”作為題目了。）

2. 《靜夜思》

3. 《春曉》
春眠不覺(jué)曉，
處處聞啼鳥(niǎo)。
夜來(lái)風(fēng)雨聲，
花落知多少。
Spring Morning
This spring morning in bed I’m lying,
Not to awake till birds are crying.
After one night of wind and showers,
How many are the fallen flowers?原詩(shī)一二四押韻十七筱，英譯韻步aabb，也別有一番風(fēng)味呢。

4. 《登樂(lè)游原》
向晚意不適，
驅(qū)車(chē)登古原。
夕陽(yáng)無(wú)限好，
只是近黃昏。
On the Plain of Tombs
At dusk my heart is filled with glooms?
I drive my cab to ancient tomb.
The setting sun seems so sublime.
But it is near its dying time.
李商隱的原作里，只能隱隱感到一種暮氣。“樂(lè)游原”本是漢朝一位皇后的墳?zāi)顾?，原本叫?lè)游廟。李商隱登臨之時(shí)，正是受到排擠，官場(chǎng)失意的時(shí)候，雖然正值壯年，但已經(jīng)心如死灰。
但是原詩(shī)中無(wú)一死字，正是作詩(shī)的含蓄之美。而英文翻譯不僅點(diǎn)出了“tomb”(墳?zāi)?，結(jié)尾還直說(shuō)“dying time”，可謂一針見(jiàn)血，把原詩(shī)中故意壓抑的悲憤之心抒發(fā)得淋漓盡致。不僅叫人嘆為絕妙！

5. 《聲聲慢·尋尋覓覓》
尋尋覓覓，冷冷清清，凄凄慘慘戚戚。

雁過(guò)也，正傷心、卻是舊時(shí)相識(shí)。

Oh! What can I do with a grief beyond belief!這首詞的翻譯也是神來(lái)之筆。原作沒(méi)有主人公，而譯作卻有一個(gè)“I”，凸顯孤零零一個(gè)人在清冷舞臺(tái)上的獨(dú)白，十足的現(xiàn)場(chǎng)感。
翻譯文學(xué)作品難，翻譯詩(shī)歌更是難上加難。許老真是大手筆，不僅緊貼原作，翻譯得惟妙惟肖，還帶出作者的深意。我大寫(xiě)的服！
