Yesterday's mistake
昨天是看著英文的原文改寫的, 所有點沒動腦. 今天讀兩遍后看著譯文改寫. 然后最后再對照原文進行修改總結(jié), 增加自己的思考.

Lesson 2 Breakfast or lunch? 早餐還是午餐？
It was Sunday. I never get up early on Sundays. I sometimes stay in bed until lunch time.
Last Sunday I got up very late. I looked out of the window. It was dark outside.
'What a day!' I thought. 'It's raining again.' Just then, the telephone rang. It was my aunt Lucy.' I've just arrived by train,' she said. 'I'm coming to see you.' 'But I'm still having breakfast,' I said.
'What are you doing?' she asked. ‘I’m having breakfast,' I repeated.
'Dear me,' she said. 'Do you always get up so late? It's one o'clock!''

It was Sunday. Mr. Author never get up early on Sundays. Sometimes he will stay on bed util lunch time. Last Sunday, Mr. Author got up very late. He looked out from the window. It was dark outside. "It's a bad weather." He thought, "It's raining again." 'At the moment'[=> just then], the telephone rang. It was Mr. Author's Unty[=> aunt] Miss. Lucy. "I have arrived by train." She said to Mr. Author, "I am coming to see you."
"I am still having breakfast." Mr. Author said.
"What are you doing?" Miss. Lucy asked.
"I am having breakfast." My. Author repeated.
"Oh, god. ", Miss. Lucy said, "Do you always get up so late? It has been one o'clock now."
From Lucy's view:
It was Sunday. My nephew Author never get up early on Sundays. Sometimes he will stay on bed util lunch time. Last Sunday, he got up very late and he looked out from the window. It was dark outside. He 'was thinking'[=> thought 170114] that it was a bad weather and it was raining again. At the time, I 'am calling'[=> called 170114] him. I told him that I had been arrived by train and I was coming to see him. Then he told me that he was still having breakfast. I thought it might be something wrong so I asked what he was doing again. He repeated that he was having breakfast. I told him that it had been one o'clock and asked[=> wondered 170114] whether he always got up so late.
錯誤點
- sometimes 不需要用will
- stay in bed. on bed 在床上但沒有睡覺的意思. in bed 有睡覺的意思.
- until 兩個地方都寫成util.. 太失誤
- look out of the window 看窗外. look out from the window 從窗看外面. 兩個表達的意思不一樣
- It's a bad day => What a day. 感嘆句的感情表達更地道.
- At that moment => Just then.
just有"恰巧"的意思. 也可以 just at that moment. - aunt 單詞忘了. nephew(侄子/外甥) 對的.
- I'v just arrived 表達"剛剛"之意用
just. - Dear me! 感嘆短語, 表達驚訝.
- I was one o'clock. 表達當(dāng)前時間不需完成時, 不要被"已經(jīng)"兩個字騙了.
錯誤點MVP
just 是個很有用的小詞, 這里就連續(xù)用到了, 很地道.
- just 表達 剛剛, 這秒鐘前不久
約翰剛剛告訴我他要結(jié)婚了。 John's just told me that he's getting married. - just 表達 恰巧
我現(xiàn)在正需要喝一杯濃濃的咖啡。 A good strong cup of coffee is just what I need right now.
