原文:

治大國，若烹小鮮，以道蒞天下，其鬼不神。非其鬼不神，其神不傷人。非其神不傷人，圣人亦不傷人。夫兩不相傷，故德交歸焉。

[譯文]

治理大國就好像煎烹小魚一樣。依據(jù)“道”原則治理天下，那些鬼神就沒有神通了。不是那些鬼怪沒有神通了，而是神通在“道”面前不愿意傷人。不僅神通不傷害人，有道的圣人也不會傷害人。這樣，鬼神和有道的圣人都不傷害人，因此，就可以讓人民享受到德的恩澤。

我的翻譯:

Governing? a big country is like cooking a

small fish.

If you govern a country with the principle of

"Tao", the ghosts? don't have magical

power.

It is not the ghosts? who have no magic

power, but the evil spirit doesn't want to

hurt people 。

Not only does the evil spirit do harm to

others, but a Saint doesn't hurt others.

In this way, the ghosts and the saints do not

hurt people .

So people can enjoy the blessing of

"Power".
