In my opinion, Conventional wisdom is not perfect enough. Most of the Chinese including me take the Confucius as a god and think less of other sages and men of virtue. However, Muxin's words changes my old ideas. Confucius is not the only thinker in ancient China, other great such as LaoZi,MoZi are also excellent and even greater than Confucius. Muxin gave us his own views on these pre-Qin philosophers.

Confucius

He had prejudice on Confucius's thoughts which he thought Confucius was not genuine and honest enough and even selfish. Every system Confucius made was not for the People but for the ruler. There was no humanistic on the principles he created. For instance, people should be mourning for the death of their parents for at least three years which Muxin thought that it wasted too much time and expanded too much energy of everyone.

LaoZi

However, the though of LaoZi and ZhuangZi were respected by Muxin. He said LaoZi's philosophy was lonely, desolate, thorough and completely disappointed. The most thing LaoZi impressed me was he had the foresight to the universe and the human. It seemed that he understood everything thoroughly on everything in the world. In fact, he did. What a pity that no one could understood and talked to him in that time. His words just wrote to people who understood him. So, he had been alone for over 200 years. He was sincere and he told the truth to the world but not hypocritical as the Confucius.

ZhuangZi

Talking of ZhuangZi, I really admire him from the bottom of my heart. His thought were natural. His words were literary. Many litterateurs were affected by him. His ideal was everything in the universe would disappear which expressed al his sense of worth of life, life comforting and spiritual realm. He was a real wise man.

MoZi

Lastly, MoZi. In the matter of fact, MoZi is a real logician in long Chinese history. His thought is compeletely converse with Confucius's. His ideas conclude all real selfnessless and nobility which are for the People. However, the rulers didn't like it.

In summary, every thinker has their own wisdom to the world even the whole universe, each kind of thought takes unique place in the long history of China.
