我們相聚在慈悲的佛陀面前，
點亮手中這一盞燈。
A New Year is approaching, here we are gathering in front of the compassionate Budha to light up the candle in our hands.
愿它的光明為我們傳遞心聲，
愿它的光明為我們奉獻(xiàn)感恩。
May its brightness send out our inner voices, and present our gratefulness.
感恩自然的饋贈，
感恩父母的哺育，
感恩師長的教誨，
感恩國土的滋養(yǎng)，
感恩眾生的成就，
感恩三寶的護(hù)佑。
Be grateful for the giving of nature, the nurturing of parents, the instructions of teachers, the nourishing of land, the accomplishments of all beings, and the blessings of Triratna.
愿我們對擁有的一切心懷感恩，
也愿我們因感恩而樂于付出，
更愿這份感恩給眾生帶去慰藉，
喚醒那些塵封的心靈，
消融所有自他的隔閡，
Wish we are grateful for all we possess, and willing to give because of such gratefulness; more than that, wish that this gratefulness brings relief to all beings (Sattva) and awakes the dust-laden minds, to lift all barriers between the self and others.
愿人們在感恩中敞開心扉，彼此關(guān)愛，
愿世界在感恩中充滿溫暖，處處和平。
May this gratefulness make people open their hearts and care for each other, and the world full of warmth and peace.

供養(yǎng)手中這一盞燈。
A New Year is approaching, here we are gathering on the solemn and holy land of Triratna to offer the candle in our hands.
愿它是一盞希望之燈，
令身處逆境的人們找回信心；
May it be a light of hope, for those undergoing adversities to regain confidence;
愿它是一盞歡樂之燈，
令孤獨哀傷的臉龐重現(xiàn)笑容；
May it be a light of happiness, allowing smiles reappear on the sad and lonely faces;
愿它是一盞施與之燈，
令貧病無依的弱者獲得倚靠；
May it be a light of giving, for the poor, sick and helpless to rely on;
愿它是一盞和平之燈，
令硝煙四起的戰(zhàn)場化作蓮池；
May it be a light of peace, turning the dangerous battlefield into a lotus pond;
愿它是一盞祝福之燈，
令自利利他的善愿悉皆成就；
May it be a light of blessing, completing all good vows of benefiting both self and others;
愿它是一盞指路之燈，
令上下求索的勇士看清方向；
May it be a light of beacon, showing clear directions for all courageous seekers;
愿它是一盞般若之燈，
令有緣聞法的善信智慧如海；
May it be a light of Prajna, for virtuous believers to access unlimited wisdom when hearing the doctrine;
愿它是一盞菩提之燈，
令修學(xué)路上的同修速成佛道。
May it be a light of Bodhi, for fellow practitioners to speed up on the way of attaining Budhahood;
愿它的光明相伴人生，
照亮未來旅程；
May its brightness be the company of life, illumining the journey ahead;
愿它的光明遍灑世間，
驅(qū)走一切陰霾；
May its brightness be everywhere in the world, driving away all shadows;
愿它的光明永不熄滅，
加被無量有情。
May its brightness never die out, blessing immeasurable livings.
愿人們在三寶的慈光中找到歸宿，
愿世間在三寶的慈光中和諧安樂。
In the merciful light of Triratna, may people find home to return to, and the world be a place of harmony and happiness.
