This week I went to a new summer camp site. It was located in a forest nearby a lake.

My favorite activity was the cook out because we got to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. I didn't bring any marshmallows so I had to borrow some from other campers. After I was done roasting a ?marshmallow it was nice and soft, ?it was also ?hot. For the hotdogs, ?after I roasted them , they were nice and hot, ? they were also so yummy.

My second favorite activity was camp wide. It was an animal game. I was a cheetah, but became an elephant because one of the elephants took our flag. I wish cheetah won but they didn't. Elephant won because they took two counselors flag.

My third favorite activity was canoeing. ?We were split into little groups, and each group had six to seven campers. Each group got a canoe and some paddles. We all wore life jackets and took turns with the paddle in the lake. All the groups did a race, and my group was in first place! When we got to the finish line, Rowen came and told us a story about a dragon. Afterwards we raced back to the starting line. We were in second place this time.

There were also many other activities, but I didn't talk about them today, otherwise this article would be so long.

I like this summer camp, it was so fun!
