? ? ? ? To tell a story to more than 5 children, It is a challenge for me, really! Well, I am not worried about the numbers of children, I am worried how can I make the story lively and interesting. Anyway, this is my first try at it, and it proved that I need more practice!

The audiences are my 2 kids and 4 nephews. They aged from 3-10. Their English is not good. My nephews said they never heard any English stories before. So I was so proud to tell them, I would tell them English stories regularly!

Step 1. Warm up. We sang a song of <days of a week >together. For sure they would understand when the caterpillar ate food. Then I introduced them the magic hungry caterpillar. According to the front cover, I mentioned the colors in passing. Thank goodness, They liked interacting with me!

Step 2. Enjoying the story

( we learned the words of food which we didn’t know before.)

That night, he had a stomachache. Hi The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The next day was Sunday again.

The caterpillar ate through one nice green leaf,

and after that he felt much better.

Now he wasn't hungry any more, and he wasn't a little caterpillar any more. He was a big, fat caterpillar.
