題目：One way to solve the problem of parking in inner city areas is to have large car parks around the city center and a public transport network to take people around the inner city. Inner city parking would then be limited and very expensive. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approach to urban planning?

Nowadays, the number of cars in inner city has increased gradually, and this situation cause a lot of problems with parking cars and traffic congestion in inner city areas. Some governments have tried to solve this issue by enlarging the car parks around the central city and providing a public transport network. This method has some advantages, but it also has some disadvantages.

Building a large car parks around the city center can reduce the number of cars? greatly, which also can reduce the air pollution in the city. What’s more, having a public transport network can save people a long time, because they do not need to spend time to find a car park and they also can save the parking fee. For the drivers, it is a good way to save their money, because it could be cheaper to take public transport and do not pay higher parking fees in inner city.

On the other hand, this idea has some disadvantages. Firstly, building large parking lots in the suburbs means more land is needed. If the parking lot is not well used, the land will be wasted. Secondly, it takes the government a lot of money to provide the public transport network. If the facilities are not perfect and few people use them, it will be lead a problem of waste.(225words)
