INTRODUCTION

G4S?operates?the?Centres?on?behalf?of?the?United?Kingdom?Border?Agency.?The?Centres?are?collectively?referred?to?as?Gatwick?IRC’s?and?are?made?up?of?both?Brook?House?IRC?and?Tinsley?House?IRC.

·Whilst?at?this?Centre,?you?are?expected?to?conduct?yourself?in?a?manner?that?gives?consideration?to?the?comfort,?safety?and?well?being?of?all?who?reside?and?operate?here.

·You?are?expected?to?conform?to?the?published?programme?of?activities,?including?attending?for?meals?at?the?correct?times,?vacating?and?returning?to?your?bedroom?when?required?and?complying?with?reasonable?instructions?from?members?of?staff.

2.2???Alcohol酒

·Alcohol?is?strictly?forbidden?in?the?Centres.?Any?alcohol?that?you?have?in?your?possession?when?you?arrive,?will?be?taken?from?you?and?stored?for?a?grace?period?of?48?hours?to?allow?you?time?to?arrange?its?disposal.?If?you?are?unable?to?do?this?following?the?48hr?grace?period,?G4S?will?dispose?of?this?on?your?behalf.?We?regret?that?we?are?not?able?to?store?alcohol?beyond?the?48hr?grace?period.

2.3??????Controlled?Drugs

·?You?are?advised?that?the?possession?of?controlled?drugs?may?be?the?subject?of?a?Police?investigation.?No?controlled?drugs?are?permitted?in?the?Centres.?Any?controlled?drug,?if?found,?will?be?handed?to?the?Police/HM?Revenue?and?Customs?for?further?action?if?necessary.?The?term?“controlled?drugs”includes?cannabis?and?marijuana.

2.4 Gambling?賭博

·Gambling,?in?any?form,?is?strictly?prohibited.?Any?betting?for?money?or?any?other?goods?or?services?is?banned.?Refusal?to?comply?with?this?could?affect?your?incentive?scheme?status.

·On?arrival,?you?will?be?issued?with?an?amenity?pack?containing?a?toothbrush?and?toothpaste,?soap,?shampoo,?deodorant?and?comb,?razors?and?shaving?stick/sachet?will?be?available?from?the?unit?office?on?request?and?sanitary?products?for?females?will?be?available?at?Tinsley?House

·In?Tinsley?House,?you?will?be?asked?to?vacate?your?room?for?a?period?of?time,?to?allow?cleaners?to?carry?out?their?work.?However,?if?you?arrived?late?after?a?long?journey?or?are?unwell,?you?may?be?allowed?to?remain?in?your?bed?with?medical?consent.?Times?will?be?displayed?on?general?notice?boards.

4.PROPERTY?財產

Detainees?are?held?at?the?Centres?with?an?assumption?that?they?will?be?removed?by?air?at?the?end?of?their?stay.?For?this?reason,?the?following?restrictions?apply.

·The?languages?and?cultures?of?many?nationalities?are?present?within?the?Centre.?It?is?therefore?very?important?that?no?racial,?cultural,?religious?or?sexually?offensive?material?is?displayed.?Comments?of?a?racial,?cultural,?religious?or?sexually?offensive?nature?will?not?be?tolerated?and?will?affect?your?level?in?the?Incentive?Scheme.?A?Detainee?Custody?Officer?will?advise?on?these?issues?and?a?Supervisor?will?settle?any?disputed?decision.
