王維的《山居秋暝》是他的代表作之一，畫面感非常強(qiáng)，詩(shī)中有畫，畫中有詩(shī)。
我從來都覺得，中國(guó)的古典文學(xué)里的詩(shī)詞能在精煉有韻律的句子中表達(dá)深刻的含義，描繪美麗的風(fēng)光，是西方再偉大的文學(xué)作品都無(wú)法比擬的。
這大概是我五六年前大一的時(shí)候翻譯的作品。第一次嘗試把這首唐詩(shī)翻譯成英文，盡量做到句尾押韻，選詞也按照詩(shī)歌原有的意境來考量。
但還是覺得古詩(shī)原文最美。要讓西方人感知中文的魅力，翻譯固然重要，更重要的是他們自己愿意來學(xué)習(xí)中文。
山居秋暝

空山新雨后，天氣晚來秋。
明月松間照，清泉石上流。
竹喧歸浣女，蓮動(dòng)下漁舟。
隨意春芳歇，王孫自可留。
Autumn Twilight in the mountain

The tranquil mountain after the fresh rain,
Catches the tinges of autumn which the cool of dusk gain.
Bright moonlight shines through the forests of pine,
While the limpid springs flow upon the rock’s line.
Whose gales of laughter awaken the bamboo groves?
Fair maidens come back from washing clothes.
The fishing boats sail along the green streams,
All the way softly swaying the lotus leaves.
Despite the beauty of spring has passed away,
There is something peaceful here drawing me to stay.
