A huge detour back to 1970s ... After three boring articles in German, I started to doubt its necessity. I am not sure if I have cited right without reading the originals, but that seems to be an endless work.

  • Picht 1980 -> definition in aspect of social psychology
  • Schmidt-Sinns 1989 -> the role of mass media
  • Boulding 1971 -> definition in aspect of political science

image is not reality, it is in a certain degree the distortion of truth, it is formation and alteration should be analyzed in coherent context of social changes and personal perceptions.
