瑞秋，你今晚打算做什么？
What are you up to ?的意思是what are you doing?你在干什么？
Rachel:Well,I was kinda supposed to be headed for Aruba on my honeymon,so nothing!
這個嘛，我本來應(yīng)該在阿魯巴島度蜜月，所以，沒事做。
Be supposed to表示“理應(yīng)做某事”，強調(diào)一種客觀性。比如：You are supposed to listen to?your boss.你理應(yīng)聽從你的老板。was supposed to在句中表示我本應(yīng)該做某事（其實沒有做）。比如：I was supposed to go on a trip to Beijing,but my boss strongly askd me to stay,I had to give up my trip.我本應(yīng)該去北京旅行的，但是既然我的老板強烈要求我留下，我就放棄了我的旅行。
head for表示去某地,朝什么方向走去，出發(fā)去某地。比如：He turned around and headed for workshop.他轉(zhuǎn)身，走向車間。

Rose:Anyway,if you don't feel like being alone tonight.不管怎樣，如果你不想獨處的話。
feel like表示“想做某事;感覺....;”，比如：She didn't feel like going out any more.她再也不想出去了。I don't feel like having dinner now.我現(xiàn)在不想吃晚餐。I feel like I'm knocking my head against the wall.我感覺我在白費力氣。關(guān)于feel like用作“感覺....”的時候，老友記里有這樣一個例子。
Rose:I just feel like someone reached down my throat.
我感覺有人把手伸進了我的喉嚨。
這里的feel like意思就是感覺.....
或者還有。。
Joey:If you feel like you have to make a western omelet or something..
如果你想做煎蛋卷之類的東西。
Rachel:But I think I'm just gonna hang out here tonight.
不過我今晚想待在這里。
hang out表示閑逛，逗留，和朋友出去玩，曬衣服。
比如：I just want to hang out with my friends.我只是想和我朋友出去玩。where does he hang out these days?他這幾天都在哪里？
Rose:I cannot feel my legs.我的腿麻了。
not feel my leg表示感覺不到我的腿了，就是我的腿麻了。腿麻了還可以說：My leg has gone to sleep或者My leg has fallen asleep.字面翻譯我的腿睡覺了，是不是很形象？
Chandler:Oh,my god-you got screwed.天哪，你被坑了。
someone got screwed意思是某人被坑了。比如：We got screwed when we bought this house.我們買房子的時候被坑了。screw up也是常用短語，意思有“把事情搞砸了；鼓舞，振作”。比如：Don't screw up my project.不要搞砸我的項目。I screwed up my nerve/courage for one more try.我鼓起勇氣又試了一遍。
