跟讀內(nèi)容：今天跟讀的是C11 Test1 Par3的第1句-第16句

1、About the study of college students done by Akira Miyake and his team?（C11 Test1 Par3第2句）

我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的聽力很大的一個問題，是對人名和地名的辨別，一聽到不熟悉的人名和地名，就會亂套，搞不清楚這個人名和地面到底在哪兒結(jié)束，尤其是對那些非英語國家的人的人名。比如這句話，我把and his team 都聽成了人名的一部分。

2、Yeah. I was interested that the researchers were actually a mix of psychologists and physicists.（C11 Test1 Par3第3句）

當(dāng)我們想表達什么東西是一個組合，一個混合的時候，最簡單的說法就是用mix。復(fù)雜一點就說combination

3、They weren't actually majoring in physics - they were majoring in what's known as the STEM disciplines.That's science, technology, engineering and ...(Q21)6

經(jīng)常我們談到的STEM教育，其實就是science，technology，engineering 和math的第一個字母，泛指科學(xué)類教育或理科類學(xué)科。

4、So as I understood it, Miyake and co started from the fact that women are underrepresented in introductory physics courses at college, and also that, on average, the women who do enrol in these courses perform more poorly than the men.（C11 Test1 Par3第10句）

跟讀這句話時，聽到Miyake and co,聽了好幾遍，我都以外co是另外一個人的名字，后來看來原文才發(fā)現(xiàn)是簡單的co。查了一下，發(fā)現(xiàn)somebody and co,就是表示某人極其同伴的意思。

underpresent，是一個組合單詞，present本身表示出席，出現(xiàn)，underpresent本意就是表示出席的數(shù)量不足，在這里就表示參與這門課程的女生比例不多。占比不高。

5、it was that in the physics class, the female students thought the male students all assumed that women weren't any good at physics ...（C11 Test1 Par3第15句）

這是一句圈套了三層的話， the female students thought the male students all assumed that women weren't?

就像我們在漢語中也會經(jīng)常說，我想你肯定認為我想的不對。
