What is this life if,full of care
We have no time
to stand and stare.
生活會變成什么樣
假如整日充滿著憂患

No time
to stand beneath the boughs
And stare as long as
sheep and cows.
沒有時間站在樹蔭下
像牛羊那樣盡情瞻望
No time to see,
when woods we pass,
Where squirrels
hides their nuts in grass.
沒有時間去細賞我們穿越的大森林
那松鼠在草叢中把果實珍藏
No time to see,
in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars
like skies at night.
沒時間去想一想為什么
溪流像夜空群星點點閃閃
No time
to turn at Beauty’s glance,
And watch her feet,
how they can dance.
沒時間去細想
那佳人的回眸一瞥
觀賞她雙足起舞蹁躚
No time to wait
till her mouth can
Enrich that smile
her eyes began.
無暇等那佳人紅唇輕啟
盈盈的笑眸更加動人
A poor to life this if, full of care,
We have no time
to stand and stare.
生活可悲可厭
倘若它充滿著憂患
