跟讀內容：跟讀的是C20 Test2 Part2的第34句-第41句

跟讀心得日記：

1、Our plan is to get you all working in September, after a week's training starting on the 2nd, so we'll be timetabling you for duties the following week, from the 9th onward.(C20 Test2 Part2第34句)

今天跟讀這句話，我才發(fā)現(xiàn)timetable原來還可以做動詞，表示為。。。安排時間，而且是及物動詞。

另外學到一個新的表達，用來表示具體某個時間點開始持續(xù)向前，沒有間斷，就是這句話中的from the 9th onward。類似的例句還有from next monday onward, we'll implenment the new policy. (從下周開始，我們將實施新政策）,另外還有一個固定的搭配，就是onward journey， onward flight，表示從現(xiàn)在開始的下一個航程。

這個onward與forward有時容易混淆，forward更多用來表示動作或者位置向前，比如move forward。

2、As a thank you to the volunteers, we arrange an annual event.(C20 Test2 Part2第37句)

跟讀這句話發(fā)現(xiàn)，原來thank you還可以作為一個固定名詞來用。這種表達就非?？谡Z話，如果是寫作當中，可能更傾向于to show gratitude to volunteers, 或者to honor volunteers.

3、It's on Saturday, September the 28th, and if you'd like to attend, you can sign up once you start work.(C20 Test2 Part2第40句)

這句話中的日期表達，應該是英式的，美國英語當中會直接說September 28th。我發(fā)現(xiàn)老外在口語中，經(jīng)常兩種表達方式都混用，比如這篇對話的前面，有說September 23rd，就沒有加the。
