原文長(zhǎng)這樣：
如果對(duì)于邪惡只有冷漠，而沒(méi)有憤怒，那么正義也就是失去了感性的基礎(chǔ)。當(dāng)然，所有的情感都需要節(jié)制。我們憤怒的情緒必須受到法律的約束，在法治的軌道下正常釋放。
第一句
如果對(duì)于邪惡只有冷漠，而沒(méi)有憤怒，那么正義也就是失去了感性的基礎(chǔ)。
首先可以順著原句來(lái)，也就是條件狀語(yǔ)從句+主干?？梢钥吹綇木洳糠质菦](méi)有主語(yǔ)的，我們可以增補(bǔ)主語(yǔ)。此時(shí)根據(jù)邏輯，主語(yǔ)可以是everyone；
冷漠、憤怒都是針對(duì)邪惡的，故把他們處理為并列：If everyone stays indifferent and nobody feels angered...
此時(shí)可以用anger的動(dòng)詞形式：[ VN ] [ often passive ] to make sb angry 使發(fā)怒；激怒
“對(duì)于邪惡”則自然而然處理到狀語(yǔ)，也就是“面對(duì)邪惡的時(shí)候嘛”：in the face of malevolence
譯文走一個(gè)：
If everyone stays indifferent and nobody feels angered in the face of malevolence, then justice would lose its emotional basis.
或者我們可以換個(gè)思路：我們面對(duì)邪惡時(shí)的冷漠把感性關(guān)在了正義的門外。
此時(shí)，“沒(méi)有憤怒”自然就是狀語(yǔ)了：without anger
主語(yǔ)即為：對(duì)于邪惡的冷漠?indifference to evil
謂語(yǔ)可以是：shut outPHRASAL VERB If you shut someone out of something, you prevent them from having anything to do with it.?把…排除在外
當(dāng)然也可以用exclude:~ sb/sth (from sth) to prevent sb/sth from entering a place or taking part in sth 防止…進(jìn)入；阻止…參加；把…排斥在外
或者eliminate: [ VN ] ~ sth/sb (from sth) to remove or get rid of sth/sb 排除；清除；消除
在這個(gè)框架下寫(xiě)一個(gè)譯文：
Without anger, indifference to evil shuts out the underlying sensibility of justice.
第二句&第三句
當(dāng)然，所有的情感都需要節(jié)制。我們憤怒的情緒必須受到法律的約束，在法治的軌道下正常釋放。
這兩句話邏輯聯(lián)系很緊密，我們放到一起處理。
當(dāng)然——Yes, it is sure/a sure thing, certainly, a sure thing is that.../one thing is for sure that...
所有的情感都需要節(jié)制——這部分比較簡(jiǎn)單
主語(yǔ)：所有的情感 all feelings/emotions
都需要節(jié)制：need to be/should be contained/restrained
接下來(lái)我們?cè)囍严乱痪浣Y(jié)合到一起，處理為并列：and...
我們憤怒的情緒必須受到法律的約束，在法治的軌道下正常釋放。
主語(yǔ)：我們憤怒的情緒?our anger，“情緒”是個(gè)范疇詞了，可省譯；
受到法律約束：must be bound by legal ties/governed by law
正常釋放，其實(shí)是“合適地、適當(dāng)?shù)亍贬尫牛簆roperly released
在法治的軌道下——自然就是狀語(yǔ)了：through legal tools/via the the rule of law/by legal means
參考譯文：
Yes, all feelings should be restrained, and anger must be bound by legal ties and properly released via the rule of law/by legal means/through legal tools.
