? ? ? ? ? ? ? The Chocolate Bar

I was walking by when I came across a shop. A small shop. A small shop with a small chocolate bar. A chocolate bar. I just know I need one. Oh, the design on the wrapper of the chocolate! There were perfect spirals of neatly lined white chocolate on the sides of the luxurious, brown bar. I immediately barged into the clean yet crowded shop. The shelves were filled with food and things, but only a few people lined up to buy stuff. As I waited to buy my sweet chocolate, I leaned onto the pale-yellow walls while looking at all the mini yellow price tags. The brown, neatly woven basket contained bananas as ripe and yellow as sunshine. I finally reached the checkout, but then I realised I had left my wallet and money at home!

I didn’t plan to buy anything at the shops since I was just taking a stroll. I panicked when I approached the checkout and thought of excuses, but I just couldn’t steal! No! I can’t steal. When I went up to the lady selling the items, my face turned unspeakably red. My hands were practically floods of sweat and my mind just switched off.

I told the lady about my unfortunate situation and I offered to her a small bag of amazing quality pens for exchange of my chocolate but surprizingly, the lady pushed back my offer and said to me “keep the chocolate but pay me back when you have time”. I was shocked but I gladly thanked the lady.

I could have jumped with joy on the pale, smooth ground! I rushed out the exit of the wonderful and pristine shop and I skipped to my home. Then I turned straight back around, I have forgotten my chocolate! Nooooo!
