跟讀心得日記：

1、You can leave your child with us, safe in the knowledge that they will be extremely well cared for.（C17 Test3 Part2第7句）

safe in the knowledge that用于表示因掌握了某種所說明的情況,做某事無風(fēng)險或無需擔(dān)憂。這是一個非常有用的短語組合。類似例句還有：

Parents can focus on their work, safe in the knowledge that their kid have arrived home.

Conservative investors feel safe in the knowledge that the demand for properties is high and income is stable.

2、We are insured to provide care for up to 70 children, although we rarely have this many attending at any one session.（C17 Test3 Part2第8句）

insure 與ensure發(fā)音差不多，但是意思和使用環(huán)境差別大，insure是投保買保險的意思，而ensure則是確?；虮ＷC什么事情，ensure = make sure 比如we must ensure that all the doors are locked.

另外還有個assure，這個是向某人保證，讓其放心的意思，She assured me that everything will be fine.

3、I think we generally expect around 50–60 children for the afternoon sessions and about half that number for the breakfast sessions.(C17 Test3 Part2第9句）

half這個詞既可以做名詞，也可以做形容詞和副詞，所以當(dāng)我們說某某東西或數(shù)量的一半時，不必要用half of，可以直接用half +sth或half + number。
