A lecture on earthquake

This afternoon? from three to five, all the teachers and students in our school attended a lecture on earthquake? in the gym.? The lecture was given by a? professor from China International search and rescue team.

The lecture? was divided into three parts. The first part was about why an earthquake happens.? An earthquake is a natural disaster.? What we should do is to make? scientific observation of the precursors of earthquakes. The second part? was about the terrible effects? of an earthquake on people.? The third part is about how to survive an earthquake? which is the most important significant knowledge for people.

We were told how to survive an earthquake when? we are? outdoors? ,? indoors? and when we are trapped.

The lecture was? thought to be helpful , meaningful, necessary and useful .? After learning these safety measures, all teachers and students in the school felt secured.? And some students think it necessary to share it with friends and family members.
