同學們大家好。

今天，我們來看一篇語法填空，來自于2014年全國新課標Ⅰ卷。

最近的高二月考，西安好幾所高中不約而同地選用了這道題。這再次印證了我的一個觀點：于高二學生而言，語法填空真題做得不好，絕不是因為TA還沒讀高三，而是因為TA英語本來就差！

高二的同學們，不要再自我麻痹了！

還是老規(guī)矩，我們將這篇文章拆分成單句填空，如下：

In 1969, the pollution was terrible along the Cuyahoga River near Cleveland, Ohio. It (61)______(be)unimaginable that it could be ever be cleaned up.?

The river was so polluted that it (62)______(actual) caught fire and burned.?

第61空，設(shè)空處需填be動詞的一個形式。根據(jù)前一句In 1969, the pollution was...可知，本句主語it指代的前句主語the pollution，前句為一般過去時，因此第61空答案為was.

第62空，代詞it做主語，謂語動詞為caught and burned，修飾動詞必須用副詞，因此第62空答案為形容詞actual的副詞形式，即actually.

第63空，空后most outstanding examples中，outstanding為多音節(jié)形容詞，其最高級用the+形容詞原級表示，因此第63空答案為定冠詞the.

第64空，本題無提示詞，必填虛詞。將本句英譯漢變?yōu)椋哼@條河幾天_____甚至是幾個月都沒有變化，此處需填一個表選擇關(guān)系的連詞，or最合適。因此第64空答題為連詞or.

第65空，it為形式主語，真正的主語為______ (reduce) industrial pollution and clean the water. 本題考察it takes sb+時間+to do sth這個固定句型。因此第65空答案為to reduce.

第66空，根據(jù)橫線后的than可知，本題考察形容詞比較級，因此第66空答案為clean的比較級形式，即cleaner.

第67空，本題考察定語從句知識，先行詞a habit指物, 后面的從句is driving your family crazy缺主語，因此本空需填指物且能做主語的關(guān)系代詞，答案為that / which.

第68空，空格后stories of instant transformation做表語，設(shè)空處需填amaze的形容詞形式。amazing譯為令人吃驚的，修飾事物，因此本空答案為amaze修飾事物時的形容詞形式，即amazing.

第69空，設(shè)空處后are gradual...為系表結(jié)構(gòu)，空前缺主語，只有一個表特指的定冠詞the，設(shè)空處應(yīng)填可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。因此第69空答案為changes.

第70空，本句為祈使句，省略了主語you，設(shè)空處前為系動詞be，因此本空應(yīng)填一個形容詞，構(gòu)成系表結(jié)構(gòu)，答案為patience的形容詞形式，即patient.

總結(jié)：相較于近幾年考頻越來越高的說明文體裁，本題為并不常見的夾敘夾議體。但萬變不離其宗，語法填空考點近幾年來尤其穩(wěn)定，無論什么文體，把握好空前空后的特點，注意下單詞拼寫，細心一些，這個題型拿到滿分，并不是難事。
