最近迷上了百歲老人許淵沖老先生（1921.4.18-2021.6.17）的各種譯作.?
在2021年5月，已百歲的他還參與樊登讀書錄制"作者光臨--《西南聯(lián)大求學(xué)日記》，許老先生在節(jié)目中談笑風(fēng)生，思路清晰，表達(dá)流暢，說起譯作也是隨口就來。
“無邊落木蕭蕭下，不盡長江滾滾來”
這是來自杜甫《登高》中的詩句。無邊無際的樹木蕭蕭地飄下落葉，長江滾滾涌來,奔騰不息。
原文譯文對(duì)照
風(fēng)急天高猿嘯哀，渚清沙白鳥飛回。
無邊落木蕭蕭下，不盡長江滾滾來。
萬里悲秋常作客，百年多病獨(dú)登臺(tái)。
艱難苦恨繁霜鬢，潦倒新停濁酒杯。
許老先生將這句詩翻譯為：
The boundless forest sheds its leaves shower by shower,?
the endless river rolls it's waves hour after hour.
信、達(dá)、雅，真是全部都達(dá)到了！shower by shower 和 hour after hour的押韻韻腳，讓人讀起來朗朗上口。
今天是中秋佳節(jié)，一起再來欣賞許老翻譯的《水調(diào)歌頭.明月幾時(shí)有》（蘇軾）英文版：

How long?will the full?moon appear?
Wine cup?in hand,?Iask the sky.

Riding?the wind,?there I would fly,
Yet I'm afraid?the crystalline palace would be
Too high?and cold for me.
I rise?and?dance,?with my shadow?I paly.
On high?as on earth, would it be?as gay?
（我欲乘風(fēng)歸去，又恐瓊樓玉宇，
高處不勝寒。起舞弄清影，何似在人間。）
The moon goes round?the mansions red
Through?gauze-draped window?soft to?shed
Her light upon the?sleepless?bed.

Why then?when people?part, is the oft?full and bright?
Men have?sorrow and joy;they part?or meet again;
The moon is bright or dim and she may?wax or wane.
There has been nothing perfect since the?olden days.

So let us with?that man
Will live long as he can!

許淵沖先生一生熱愛翻譯工作，在樊登讀書節(jié)目里，樊登說：”有的人能夠活到100歲以后，這種人多，但是100歲以后像您這樣思路清晰、還能寫書的人，真是沒見過。
許老回答："因?yàn)槲?00年都是這樣子，對(duì)我而言，工作就是休息，休息就是工作."
愿我們每個(gè)人也能找到一項(xiàng)自己終身的工作，終身學(xué)習(xí)、終身工作、終身生活在自己認(rèn)為值得的有意義的生命中！
