From the standing point of the majority of English students, the first paragraph elaborates several causes resulting in fear of English writing, which may not reflect what in my mind. I do not like writing because no one will read my pieces and therefore, it is difficult to polish up my ability since most often, the expression I select is not native and my thinking pattern is different from the native speakers.Then, the author explains why we should write. Basically, it is two reasons. One is to make money and the other is to express our thoughts. It is not persuasive, at least, for me to follow it. I do not think it is good enough to call for engagement.
