英語(yǔ)中 加 減 乘 除 怎么表達(dá)？

1: 在英語(yǔ)中“加” 我們可以用plus, and,或add. “等于” 用 is，make，equal，get

比如：3+3=? 問(wèn)：How much is three plus three?答案：3+3=6。英語(yǔ)有以下幾種表示法：

Three plus three is six.

Three and three is/are equal to six.

Three and three makes/make six.

Three added to three equals six.

If we add three to/and three, we get six. 這里為什么不用單三形式，因?yàn)橹髡Z(yǔ)是we）

加法記住最常用的: Three plus three is six.就好。

注意：在算式中，加法做主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞可用單三形式），也可以用原形。比如上面列舉的：is/are, makes/make.

既然這么說(shuō)，那為什么第一個(gè)例子Three plus three is six. 單單用is而不能用are 呢？ 因?yàn)閜lus在這是介詞，plus three 是介詞短語(yǔ)，作Three 的定語(yǔ)，因此用is而不是are。

2. 減法用“minus或take from

比如7-2=？ How much is seven minus two?

7-2=5

Seven minus two is five.

Take two from seven and the remainder is two.從7拿出2剩余5

Two (taken) from seven is five.

減法記住最常用的: Seven minus two is five.

注意：減法作主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞必須用單三形式如上面的is。

3. 乘法用 “time” 或 multiply 表示

比如：2乘以5等于多少？ How much is two times five? 2乘以5等于10

可以說(shuō): Two times five is/are ten.

Multiply two by five, we get ten.（這里為什么不用單三形式，因?yàn)橹髡Z(yǔ)是we）

Two multiplied by five makes ten.

乘法記住最常用的：Two times five is/are ten.

注意：乘法和加法一樣，乘法做主語(yǔ)時(shí)，謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞可用單三形式，也可以用原形比如上面列舉的：is/are.

4. 除法可以用divide 的過(guò)去分詞形式表示

12除以3等于多少？How much is twelve divided by three?

12除以3等于4

可以說(shuō): Twelve divided by three is four.

Twelve divided by three equals/gives/makes four.

記住最常用的：Twelve divided by three is four.

注意：和減法一樣，除法作主語(yǔ)時(shí)謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞必須用單三形式，如上面的is, equals, gives,makes.
