今天我的分享題目是：英語(yǔ)文章的三種寫(xiě)作模式 How to organize a paragraph - three patterns
第一種模式：a cause-and-effect pattern 因果模式
A cause is what makes something happen; an effect is what happens as a result of a cause.?
因果模式或者有時(shí)是果因模式。先說(shuō)原因，再說(shuō)由此導(dǎo)致的結(jié)果是什么?；蛘呦日f(shuō)結(jié)果，再分析原因有哪些。
我舉一個(gè)例子。
Topic: Regular exercise and health
Cause: Doing regular exercise
Effects:
1. Improved physical health
2. Improved mental health
I have been doing regular exercise since my doctor told me to do so a few years ago.?
As a result, my physical health has much improved. I was overweight and had high blood pressure. But after exercising every day for half a year, I have lost 15 pounds and my blood pressure remains stable now.?
Besides, exercising regularly has also benefited my mental health as it helps me release anxiety. I used to get nervous very often and have a hard time getting to sleep. But now I become more relaxed because regular exercise takes away much of my daily stress, and I can sleep well now.?
黑體字部分，先說(shuō)總體情況，引出文章主題。用as a result，顯示運(yùn)動(dòng)的結(jié)果。
因果模式是寫(xiě)說(shuō)明文的一種方式。也就是說(shuō)，當(dāng)你看到一篇說(shuō)明文時(shí)，可以看看作者是否用了因果模式展開(kāi)全文，幫助你更清晰的把握文章的脈絡(luò)。迅速get到要點(diǎn)。
第二模式：a paragraph of problem-solution pattern 遇到問(wèn)題-解決問(wèn)題模式
Topic: How to keep a good relationship with children
Problem:
Many parents do not seem to know how to keep a good relationship with their children
Details of the problem:
They do not know what activities to do or what topics to talk about with their children.
Solutions:
1. Have a family trip.
2. Do fun things together.?
3. Tell stories to young children.?
這種模式常見(jiàn)于記敘文。首句一般會(huì)點(diǎn)出主題，總說(shuō)遇到的情況。接著展開(kāi)說(shuō)問(wèn)題的細(xì)節(jié)。之后提出解決方案。
第三種模式：a paragraph of question-example-conclusion pattern 問(wèn)題-舉例-結(jié)論模式
Topic: Happiness
Question: Where does happiness come from?
Example:
Ann's experience with her community members
1. Ann, a worker of low income, was devoted to the community.
2. Ann was touched and felt grateful when many people came to help her when she was in trouble.?
Conclusion: Happiness is the result of helping each other.?
這種文章模式適用于很多文章類型。尤其可以討論一些抽象話題，比如幸福、道德、責(zé)任、誠(chéng)信等話題。舉例子的方法可以生動(dòng)解答問(wèn)題，最后得出結(jié)論。
了解英文的寫(xiě)作模式，有兩個(gè)作用：
1. 幫助你在構(gòu)思文章時(shí)，有套路可尋。根據(jù)框架更容易下筆寫(xiě)。
2. 閱讀一些同類型的文章時(shí)，可以幫助你迅速梳理文章脈絡(luò)，看懂文章大意。
英語(yǔ)閱讀小貼士：
1. 文章首尾段重點(diǎn)看，一般首段引出話題，尾段是結(jié)論。很多新聞報(bào)道就這么寫(xiě)。
2. 每段第一句重點(diǎn)看一下。常常是這段的概括。當(dāng)然也不是絕對(duì)。有時(shí)會(huì)在尾句或者中間段落。但是首句的幾率較大。
想快速了解這篇文章的大意，試著按上面兩步走就好。
