3. Turn to / turn into

4. deviate - to start doing something different from what is expected or agreed

E.g. I don't want to deviate from the plan.

5. diverge -

1 to start to go in separate directions

E.g. The two roads diverge at the entrance to the woods.

2 to develop and become different after being the same

E.g. diverge from: Their views on foreign policy diverge consistently from ours.
