大家都知道to do是動詞不定式，to doing是介詞后面跟動詞ing形式。
那什么時候to是跟行為動詞構(gòu)成不定式，什么時候又是做介詞呢？ 我想?yún)^(qū)別在于to前面那個動詞是不是及物動詞。

打個比方want是個及物動詞，后面可直接跟賓語。賓語是物如want an apple，賓語是動作就要跟動詞不定式want to do（許多動詞也能接doing，如enjoy doing）。

如果to前面是不及物動詞，大家都知道不及物動詞要接賓語必須加上介詞，如to，at等。介詞后面要跟動作就必須是doing形式。所以to doing就是不及物動詞+介詞to+doing的形式。如adjust作適應(yīng)之意時為不及物動詞,后面接物比如：adjust to the dark適應(yīng)黑暗，接動作那就等于把dark這個名詞換成動名詞了，如adjust to living in the dark.

其實只要to后面可以加sth的那變成動詞時都是doing

be accustomed to do sth是經(jīng)常做某事的意思，be accustomed to doing sth是習(xí)慣于做某事的意思。

做習(xí)慣解釋的時候，可以直接接sth，但是做經(jīng)常做某事的時候不能直接接sth，你自己去體會下。不可能說“我經(jīng)常某事”吧，肯定要“我經(jīng)常干某事”
