跟讀內(nèi)容：今天跟讀的是C11 Test1 Par3的第30句-第44句

跟讀心得日記：

1、You mean, if they know the researchers thought it might help them to improve, then they'd just try to fulfil that expectation?（C11 Test1 Par3第32句）

滿足某人的期望，達(dá)到某人的期待。 fulfill that expectation.

fulfill這個(gè)單詞，有兩個(gè)不同的寫法，一個(gè)是fulfill，一個(gè)是fulfil，前面是美式，后面是英式。

2、something more factual?（C11 Test1 Par3第36句）

雖然認(rèn)識fact這個(gè)單詞，但是factual對我來說是一個(gè)生詞，以前沒有遇到過。

factual從構(gòu)詞法就知道其是一個(gè)形容詞，查了一下，表示事實(shí)的，有事實(shí)根據(jù)的

3、Like a general knowledge topic.（C11 Test1 Par3第37句）

科普的英文怎么表達(dá)，就是這里的general knowledge。

4、or we could have half the students doing a writing task and half doing something else, like an oral task.（C11 Test1 Par3第39句）

這句話中的兩個(gè)“half" 將half這個(gè)詞的兩個(gè)最重要用法展現(xiàn)了出來。

首先是最基本的詞性和用法，就是做形容詞，表示一半的，比如這里的half the students, 直接修飾名詞詞組

第二個(gè)基本的詞性和用法，就是做代詞，表示一半的人或一半的物，比如這里的half are doing something else.

5、Then we'd see if it really is the topic that made the difference, or something else.（C11 Test1 Par3第41句）

make the difference,這個(gè)詞組的意思，遠(yuǎn)超過其字面意義上的制造不同，而是對某人或某事的發(fā)展/結(jié)果等起決定作用的意思。

其實(shí)還有一個(gè)類似的固定短語，make a difference, 這個(gè)意思差不多，但是表示的程度要輕很多，只是表示對某人或某事目前的狀態(tài)有作用，有影響，而并非關(guān)鍵性的，或決定性的。
