1、As she's finishing pretty early, she won't need dinner, will you give her breakfast before she comes?(C10 Test3 Par1第49句)

跟讀這句話，可以發(fā)現(xiàn)一日三餐breakfast、lunch、dinner，通常是可數(shù)名詞，所有這里都沒(méi)有用復(fù)數(shù)形式或者用不定冠詞a來(lái)修飾。

但極特殊情況下，比如想表達(dá)某一次特定的餐，可以用a，或者說(shuō)表達(dá)吃了幾頓或幾次中餐或晚餐，可以加s，變復(fù)數(shù)。

比如：We hosted a dinner for twenty guests。

再比如：The dinners at that restaurant vary by season

2、Yes, she's pretty good about wearing them, she can't see much without them.(C10 Test3 Par1第55句)

be good about 表示對(duì)某事認(rèn)真負(fù)責(zé)，或者非常積極地做好某事

3、Just the name and number of a friend or family member we can contact in case we can't get hold of you at any time.(C10 Test3 Par1第59句)

get hold of sb,? 表示與某人取得聯(lián)系，聯(lián)系上某人的意思
