英語(yǔ)中的句子并不總是遵循著主語(yǔ)+動(dòng)詞+賓語(yǔ)的規(guī)律。跟我們的母語(yǔ)一樣，有時(shí)主語(yǔ)什么也不做，但是卻導(dǎo)致別人去做些事情。所以，邏輯上我們把導(dǎo)致別人行動(dòng)的動(dòng)詞叫使役動(dòng)詞。最常見(jiàn)的使役動(dòng)詞有：let / make / have / get.
? Do you like Linda’s new hairstyle? She had her hair cut yesterday.
? Why don’t you get your hair cut in a new style?
? The teacher made us do four hours homework yesterday.
? A lot of parents let their teenage children drink alcohol at home.
? You shouldn’t let your dog annoy people on the beach.
? Do you think parents should let their teenage children smoke at home?
? My parents won’t let me go out.
? If you let me drive your car to the party, I’ll wash the dishes.
規(guī)則其實(shí)很簡(jiǎn)單
let+ 名詞 + 動(dòng)詞原形
My neighbour lets his children play computer games when they are at the dinner table!
make+ 名詞 +動(dòng)詞原形
I never made my children do homework. I believed that it was their responsibility.
I make my dog sleep outside at night. I make him eat outside too.
make+ 名詞 + 形容詞
嚴(yán)格意義上講，如果名詞后面接了形容詞，這不算使役動(dòng)詞。但是我們要注意這個(gè)結(jié)構(gòu)，與使役動(dòng)詞后面加過(guò)去分詞是一樣的。看下面的例句：
Chocolate makes people happy!
The news on TV makes some people depressed.
Exams make most people nervous.
Shopping makes me tired.
chocolate, TV news, 還有exams影響了情感. Depressed 和 tired 是ed結(jié)尾的形容詞/過(guò)去分詞
have+ 名詞 + 動(dòng)詞原形
I have the doctorcheckmy blood pressure every visit.
I always have my daughtercookdinner on the days I see the doctor.
have+ 名詞+ 過(guò)去分詞
I had my teeth whitened last week.
My husband will have his car serviced tomorrow.
get+名詞 + 過(guò)去分詞
I get my hair cut once a month.
Linda gets her house cleaned every week.
get+ 名詞 + 不定式
A lot of parents are trying to get their childrento playmore sport.
How can we get childrento eatmore vegetables?
大家看到了吧，上面的例句中主語(yǔ)并沒(méi)有做動(dòng)詞的動(dòng)作。至于have后面什么時(shí)候用過(guò)去分詞什么時(shí)候用動(dòng)詞原形，get后面什么時(shí)候用過(guò)去分詞什么時(shí)候用不定式，你發(fā)現(xiàn)規(guī)律了嗎？
